Jacob Andra

Jacob Andra is CEO of Talbot West, an AI engineering and digital transformation firm. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of 47G, an aerospace and defense consortium, and hosts The Applied AI Podcast.

Talbot West provides AI solutions for defense, government, and enterprise organizations. The firm's Cognitive Hive AI (CHAI) framework offers a modular, composable approach to AI deployment that aligns with the DoD’s Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles. Andra co-developed CHAI with his co-founder Stephen Karafiath, formerly of Oracle's Developer Innovations Team.

Andra writes and publishes on AI, defense technology, and gray zone warfare. His work with 47G reflects his belief that American industry and government must collaborate more effectively to out-innovate adversaries.

He holds a BA from the University of Utah and lives in Salt Lake City.
